Saipan’s Jonathan Wolf completes US Army training with distinction

JONATHAN Wolf completed the United States Army Advanced Individual Training on Dec. 7, 2023 at Fort Sill Oklahoma with distinguished honors.

Out of the 22 members of the class, Wolf received the Army Achievement Medal for outstanding achievements while assigned as a 13F student during advanced individual training at Bravo Battery.

According to his award, “Private Wolf’s unwavering motivation, accomplishment, and dedication to the total soldier concept earned him the coveted distinguished honor graduate award. Private Wolf’s exceptional performance is in keeping with the finest traditions of military service and reflects great credit upon him, the I-78th Field Artillery Battalion, and the United States Army.”

Born and raised on Saipan, Wolf’s parents are Kristine and Leslie Wolf.

Private Wolf graduated from Marianas High School in 2022 and received the Premier Distinction Award, which is given to the highest achieving and excelling student who competed in National Speech and Debate Association of America events. The award is very rare and is only given to less than 1% of graduating students. It is the highest award a student can earn from the honor society.
