HAGÅTÑA (The Guam Daily Post) — A man was allegedly found with methamphetamine at a bus stop near a school in Sinajana.
About 3 a.m. Monday, officers with the Guam Police Department were on patrol when they found Masson Keith Tenorio Debevoise, 23, “asleep at a bus stop in front of the Bishop Baumgartner Memorial Catholic School in Sinajana,” according to a magistrate’s complaint.
Upon approaching Debevoise, officers reported that he appeared to be nervous, he was sweating, and his eyes were “darting around the surrounding area.”
“The defendant was also observed touching his right pants pocket,” the complaint stated, adding officers asked if Debevoise had any weapons and asked him for permission to be patted down.
Debevoise then allegedly stated, “I have a glass pipe in my right pocket, officers.”
According to the complaint, police found the glass pipe which had suspected methamphetamine residue and a clear plastic baggie containing a white crystalline substance also suspected to be meth. The residue and substance were tested and yielded a presumptive positive result for meth.
Debevoise was charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance within a drug-free school zone as third-degree felonies.
