PNG top Oceania Grand Prix Women

Mae Koime won the first place garnering a total of 1,228 points. She finished the 100 Meters Sprint in 11.7 seconds and the 200 Meters in 24.04 seconds.

Winning the second place was her compatriot, Toea Wisil with 1,154 points. She came next to Koime in the 100 Meters finishing 11.9 seconds and 24.72 seconds in the 200 Meters Run.

Salome Dell settled for third place as she earned 1,146 points. She ran the 800 Meters Run in two minutes and 10.92 seconds.

Sharon Kwarula who finished the 400 Meters Heptathlon in 62.05 seconds came fourth with 1,084 points.

Makelesi Tumalevu of Fiji was trailing them with 1,073 points. She went 5.70 meters in the first series of Long Jump and 5.84 in the second event.

Betty Burua also of PNG earned 1,069 points for sixth place. She ran in 12.79 seconds in the 100 Meters Run in the first event and finished the 400 Meters Run in 56.58 seconds.

In Men’s division, Erin Frederic of New Caledonia won the first place with 1,174 points. Second place is Mowen Boino of PNG with 1,158 points. He finished the 400 Meters Run Heptathlon in 52.16 seconds in the first event and 48.45 in the second.

Settling for third was Isoa Me of Fiji garnering 1,092 points. He finished the 200 Meters Run in 21.93 seconds in the first event and completed the 400 Meters Run in 48.45 seconds in the second event.

Coming fourth was Aunese Curreen of Samoa with 1,058 points. He finished the 1500 Meters Run in 3 minutes and 5951 seconds in the first event 3:58.76 in the second event.

First placer in the Grand Prix Series gets 900 Australian Dollar, second, AUD 750; third AUD 550; fourth, AUD 350; fifth AUD 250 and sixth AUD 150.
