A cooperating informant told the narcotic investigators about the marijuana plantation near an unfinished house in the As Terlaje hill area.
Members of the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Drug Enforcement Task Force, and personnel from the DPS Criminal Investigation Division conducted a reconnaissance and discovered the marijuana plants.
On May 14, the authorities conducted a search warrant at one of the residences in As Terlaje and uprooted 151 marijuana plants with a street value of $15,100.
No arrests were made at the time of the operation and the case is still under investigation.
