PPR is joined by new chef

Masakatsu Kato, was first invited to Palau to train a team of chefs working at the hotel.Kato has a wide culinary experience by working with Tokyo Spago prior his stint here.Kato plans to introduce the very best ingredients using local products.Kato was trained in a culinary school in Tokyo and later joined WDI, a prestigiousorganization of chefs and restaurant owners.He then worked for several famous restaurants in Tokyo.“I will try to keep the natural taste from the natural ingredients,” Kato said.Kato said he will also introduce Californian cuisine, Australian cuisine and Asian cuisine.Kato said his famous creation is tuna with avocado and Mangrove Crab in Blackened Cajun spices.He said he is enjoying his new work in Palau and admires how fresh ingredients in Palau.Kato is now training three sous chef working at the hotel.
