Ready Mix shuts out Bombers, 7-0

Audie Maratita went 3-for-3 and 1 RBI to lead the Ready Mix in an early show of might to defend their title.

Mark Naputi went 2-for-3 and Henry Palacios pitched into the 7th inning giving up three strike outs.

Sai-Pal 11, Ngiwal-79 1

Charito Ngircheungel went 3-for-3 to lead Sai-Pal to11-1 victory against Ngiwal.

He scored three runs and had one RBI.

Kuich Damian went 2-for-3 scored two runs and had one RBI.

Leo Bobai pitched into 7th innings, gave up 7 hits and one strike outs.

Ngiwal scored only in the fourth inning with Jess Taisacan sending home all the base runners loading the field.

Man Amigos 13, Choll A’s 5

Mark Pangelinan hit inside-the-park homerun, went 4-for-5 and drove in five runs.

Ton Manibusan went 2-for-3 and scored two runs.

Mark Flores went 2-for-4.

James Fleming also went 2-for-4, had two RBIs and scored three runs.

Mike Sablan allowed five runs, gave up one strike out and seven hits.

Haga-T 9, Falcons 8

Haga-T came from behind to beat Falcons 9-8.

Falcons were leading (8-4) into the fourth innings, and in the decisive run of the sixth inning, Haga-T came up with three runs (8-7) with Eric Tudela, after relieving Edwin Tagaya, getting at-bat 1-for-1.

Then, Haga-T shut out Falcons in the top of the seventh inning.

In the bottom of the seventh, Haga-T scored two runs to take the lead.

Jack Reyes went 1-for-3, scoring two runs.

Jake Tagai hit a single hit to the right field and scored a run through an error by short stop.

Winning pitcher Melvin Tudela allowed eight runs, gave ip nine hits and three strike outs.

Hitters 13, Atu Asi 1

In the Women’s Division Vanessa Mobel went 2-for-3, and scored a run to lead Hitters to 13-1 victory over Atu Asi.

Thelma Mizer went 3-for-3.

Daylin Joseph had one RBI scored three runs and went 2-for-3.

Feliza Brel allowed one run, gave up five hits and three strikes out.

Sakudi 19, “670” 2

Kayla Techur went 2-for-5, hit one single, one double, two RBIs and scored three runs to lead Sakudi to 19-2 win over 670.

Pauline Tudela went 4-for-4, three singles, one double and three RBIs.

Bego Camacho pitched into the seventh innings and allowed four hits, and gave up four strike outs.

Meanwhile., Ohn Sakau won by forfeit after the Esta Ombe lacked players for the first game.

Belau Amateur Softball Association President Bryan Adelbai said the tournament was supposed to open in May 25 but they have to give way to the other tournament where the teams had to travel to Las Vegas afterwards.
