Aguon is also, once again, urging community members to dispose of their trash properly and to maintain the cleanliness of public areas.
On Saturday last week, he left the trailer he uses for collecting trash behind the Aquarius building in Chalan Kanoa for beachgoers.
He said when he returned to the area Sunday, there was no trash bag inside the trailer, but instead “trash was all over the place.”

On Friday, Aguon said he was assisted by 30 Saipan Muslim Community members in cleaning up the beach area from the 13 Fishermen Monument in Garapan to the Minatchom Atdao pavilion in Susupe.
Aguon thanked Marianas Visitors Authority projects manager Martin Duenas for providing trash bags for the cleanup activity.
Aguon also expressed his appreciation to Saipan Lions Club, Emon Lodge 179 for adopting Sugar Dock as its members’ regular cleanup area; and to U.S. Congressman Gregorio Kilili Camacho Sablan for providing bottled water to cleanup volunteers.
