The basketball court at the gym is operated and maintained by the Rollers, a sports organization that trains young basketball enthusiasts on island. The gate and fence of the facility were damaged by Super Typhoon Yutu.

Rollers president Juan Dela Cruz said they reached out to Flores for assistance in rehabilitating the gym.
“The rehabilitation project began a while back,” Dela Cruz said. “Rep. Joe Flores…assured us that once he was done with the rehabilitation of the San Antonio basketball court, he would help us fix the Koblerville basketball court.”
Dela Cruz added, “We thank him so much for his assistance in helping us get this done. The gate is brand new and the fences are up.”
