Members of the Saipan Tactical Airsoft Group pose for a photo after collecting trash at Wing Beach in Marpi.
SAIPAN Tactical Airsoft Group or STAG, in partnership with the Bureau of Environmental Coastal Quality, participated in a recent islandwide beach cleanup as part of the group’s commitment to serve the islands. The group aims to not just promote the sport of airsoft, but also to be good ambassadors to the community through airsoft.
STAG members and their family members collected several pounds of trash at Wing Beach in Marpi.
There wasn’t a lot of trash on the coast, and it was only in the entrance area of the beach where the group collected most of the trash.
Pistang Pinoy
Just like in previous years, STAG will be seen once again at Pistang Pinoy on Sunday, June 18 at the Marianas Business Plaza in Susupe in celebration of the Philippines’ 125th Independence Day.
STAG will set up an airsoft shooting range as one of the group’s fundraising activities. Members of the public can use an airsoft rifle or pistol to shoot at different targets.
STAG will also have a photo booth and awesome STAG merchandise to sell.
STAG has been preparing for months for this event and has put so much planning and effort into making it a memorable one.
STAG is inviting everyone to check out its booth at the Pistang Pinoy 2023: try airsoft shooting, purchase merchandise or just hang out with the group members.
