The Garapan Fishing Base launching ramp will remain open to launch boats. The north end of the paved parking lot and the surrounding grassy area is designated as the temporary boat trailer parking site during this time period. The areas immediately to the north of the launching ramp may be used for parking vehicles.
This temporary closure and designated parking sites are necessary to accommodate Triple J 5K “Bubble Color Run” Family Fun Run/Walk, slated for Saturday, March 7, 2020.
DLNR has partnered with Triple J, Saipan and its affiliate businesses, in bringing to the public this worthwhile community event. Everyone is encouraged to attend. Show time is 5:15 am, and the event will start at 6 a.m.
