Police patrol units were also immediately dispatched to the area on both dates to conduct a thorough sweep while looking for a suspicious silver/gray sedan. On both occasions, police were unable to locate the vehicle.
Police followed up with both callers and victims on separate occasions, and it was concluded that both reports were false and did not occur.
