The Tan Siu Lin Foundation, in partnership with Northern Marianas College, recently awarded scholarships to 10 recipients to support their pursuit of higher education. Superior Court Associate Judge Joseph N. Camacho visited San Vicente Elementary School on May 11 to meet with fifth graders as part of the CNMI Judiciary’s Judges in the Classroom program. This year’s topic was “Civics, Civility and Collaboration.”
“I was very impressed with their level of knowledge,” Judge Joseph N. Camacho said, referring to the fifth graders of San Vicente Elementary School. The students also enjoyed taking turns lifting Judge Camacho’s 10 lbs stainless steel gavel.
