(MVA) — M2 Fitness is showing their support for tourism by offering a Zumba warmup for the Marianas Tourism Month 5K Fun Run on May 20, 2023, at Garapan Fishing Base.
M2 Fitness Strong Zumba Movers will conduct a 20-minute warmup at the starting line at 6:30 a.m. prior to the start of the 5K at 7 a.m.
“The organization’s main objective is to help people in the community to maintain a healthy lifestyle and to improve their quality of life through the free Zumba/HIIT/Aqua fitness.” said Mary Grace Bautista, founder/coach of M2 Fitness. “Thanks to MVA for allowing M2 Fitness to be part of this great event.”

Registration will also be held at the starting line on the day of the run beginning at 6 a.m., with the fun run proceeding south on Saipan Beach Rd. Pathway to Quartermaster Rd. and back.
“We invite everyone in the community from our tourism trade partners to non-profits to families to come out on May 20 for our 5K Fun Run,” said Marianas Visitors Authority Managing Director Christopher A. Concepcion. “Or join me at the starting line and make it a walk as we celebrate tourism together!”
For added fun, participants are invited to dress as a tourist for a chance to win cash prizes for the best tourist costume, $300 for 1st place, $200 for 2nd place, and $100 for 3rd place. Cash prizes will also be awarded for the top three male and female finishers, $150 for 1st place, $100 for 2nd place, and $50 for 3rd place, respectively. All proceeds will benefit the Mariana Islands Nature Alliance, a non-profit organization. The first 100 registrants will also receive a limited edition Marianas Tourism Month t-shirt.
