Saipan Fil-Am Lions Club cleans up portion of Beach Road pathway

NINE members of the Saipan Fil-American Lions Club cleaned a portion of the Beach Road pathway on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023, as part of their environmental projects. Members used blowers, rakes and broomsticks to clean the pathway and collect trash from the Quartermaster  intersection up to the National Office Supply area.  The group was headed by their Club Service chairperson, Annamae Adaza, who said: “It’s time to step up and give back to the community.” She added, “I am grateful to my fellow Lions Ness Mendoza, Leony Mendoza, Anna Mercado, Jaime Del Peralta, Jun Lapeceros, Ronald De Ramos, Gladys Angeles and Zyron Castillo for participating in the cleanup.” CNMI  Lions are always serving the community. If you wish to join them, you can call the club president, Socorro Huliganga, at (670) 989-6407, or the secretary,  Gemabelle Aringo, at (670) 287-9805.
