SPICY Thai Ridin’ Darty successfully defended their A Division title in the 2023 SEDA Bud Light Dart League after edging Black 8 Team Vipers, 9-8, on Monday at the Spicy Thai Restaurant.

Ridin’ Darty started strong with KJ “KrazyK” Villagomez and June “Awesome” Nunez working well as a pair along with Charlie Peters and Anthony “June” David as they swept the opening Partners Crazy Cricket match to take the lead, 2-0.

However, as individuals, the Vipers’ sting proved stronger as John Rebuenog, Juliano “Show Me” Matsutaro, and Vince “Vinsanity” Sablan each came out victorious for a 3-1 run in the Singles 501 Double In/Double Out match to even the score, 3-3.

Then Vipers continued to ride the momentum as a team with a two-win sweep in the Partners Regular Cricket match and a split in the next two-game match, 6-4.

But their time in the spotlight was short-lived as Ridin’ Darty gave the Vipers a taste of their own medicine with a four-win sweep in the Singles Regular Cricket match to regain control, 8-6.

The Vipers then flipped the script in the two-man game by sweeping the Partners Half-It match to tie the score, 8-8.

But as the dust settled down in the final Team 1001 match, Ridin’ Darty emerged victorious, 9-8, to claim the A Division Bud Light Cup.
