Golden Harvest International School bags 31 awards in forensic competition

GOLDEN Harvest International School students brought pride to their alma mater as they emerged victorious with 31 awards during the Primary Grade Forensic Competition  on Oct. 7, 2023 at Mt. Carmel School.

A vibrant pack of young students from different divisions — Kindergarten 5 to 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade to 5th Grade — came together to compete in various categories.

The competition aimed to showcase the talents of students in various categories such as Duo, Choral Speaking, Humorous Interpretation, Dramatic Interpretation, Readers Forum, and Impromptu. Throughout the event, coaches and parents played an integral role in supporting and guiding the students.

The dedicated coaches who mentored the GHIS students in conquering yet another summit include  Angelica Claire Cubillan, Loreville Clitar, and Laarnie May Sagpao, Kindergarten 5 coaches; Alexander Dumagat, First Grade coach; Carmela Valdez, Second Grade coach; Edmond Banayat, Third Grade coach; and Jeanne Salcedo, Fourth and Fifth Grades coach. In addition, Language Teacher Princes Carelle Redoblado,  PGFC school coordinator Angelica Claire Cubillan and  School Principal, Jennifer Reyel helped lead the students to their sweet successes.

The competition provided an excellent platform for students to demonstrate their skills, boost their self-confidence, and foster their personal development.
