1st Place-ASCNMI
ON Sept. 30, 2023, the Northern Marianas Protection & Advocacy Systems Inc. celebrated its 30th year as the CNMI’s state-designated disability rights agency.
The celebration took place at the Crowne Plaza Resort in Garapan and featured Trivia Night outreach event.
Thirteen teams participated and the contestants were challenged with answering trivia questions in five categories: disability law, history, sports, entertainment, and events occurring in 1993.
Questions throughout each round also featured facts about landmark disability rights events and recognition of people with disabilities who have impacted our society.
Door prizes were raffled out during the intermission following each round.
