GREETINGS from the Northern Marianas Protection and Advocacy Systems Inc. We’re dedicated to acknowledging Alzheimer’s Brain & Awareness Month, an essential time to spread the word about the increasing challenges faced by many dealing with dementia globally.
This month acts like a spotlight, shining on the impact of Alzheimer’s and why early diagnosis matters so much. Over the years, Alzheimer’s Brain & Awareness Month has become a global effort, working hard to make people more aware, foster understanding, and bring folks together from all corners of the world.
This month is extra special because it lets everyone, including NMPASI, join together in support of those facing Alzheimer’s and the families dealing with the tough parts of this disease. As we work together to raise awareness, November becomes a time to have important global conversations that promote understanding, compassion, and most importantly, action.
Through NMPASI’s Protection and Advocacy for Traumatic Brain Injury, we ensure that we can help provide assistance that will address and eliminate barriers or conflicts reported by individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or other brain diseases. If you are experiencing any form of discrimination regarding your condition whether it be discrimination with employment, education, or availing of certain services, please contact our office so we can better serve you on that matter. Moreover, we offer a variety of programs and services that would address different kinds of challenges from our eligible applicants.
For further information, please reach out to NMPASI at (670) 235 – 7273/4 or visit our website at www.nmpasi.org/. Let’s all embrace the spirit of Alzheimer’s Brain & Awareness Month, working together to brighten the path toward a future free from the grip of Alzheimer’s.
