KAGMAN High School notched their fifth consecutive win on Monday by demolishing Saipan Southern High School JV, 30-3, in the SBL-PSS Interscholastic Boys High School Slow Pitch Softball League SY23-24 at the Dandan baseball field. 

KHS V established dominance in the first inning as the first eight of their batters rounded the bases before SSHS JV could stop the bleeding. However, KHS V resumed its onslaught with four more runs to seize a comfortable 12-0 lead. 

SSHS JV fought back thanks to Jared Reyes’s two-RBI single. He also  reached home safely. But that was the end of their offense as KHS V continued to thrive, scoring four runs in the second inning and three more in the third  to further extend the deficit.

In the fourth inning, they sealed the deal with 11 runs led by Achilles Evangelista and Angelo Igitol, who hit a homerun each to end the game, 30-3. 

SSHS V vs MHS JV

SSHS V, for their part, defeated Marianas High School JV, 10-4. 

MHS JV failed to score in the first two innings while SSHS V’s Dylan Lieto earned a two-RBI single in the bottom half of the first. SSHS V scored six more in the bottom of the second thanks to Keahie Jo Omapas’s grand slam to take control, 8-0. 

MHS JV finally broke their silence in the top of the third inning with three runs followed by a solo run in the fifth, but SSHS V locked in the win with two runs scored in the bottom of the sixth to end the game, 10-4.
