THE Northern Mariana Islands Basketball Federation will revive the masters division or 40 & Over “OG” Basketball League, which is set to start on Monday, Dec. 4. A meeting will be held this Saturday, Nov. 11, at 9 a.m. in the Ada gym conference room.
The entrance fee per team will be $800. There will be a total of eight teams, playing a total of 39 games. Each team will have 18 members, 15 of them players and three coaching staff.
Admission to the league is on a first-come, first-served basis.
All teams must have at least a top uniform with numbers on the front and back. The shirts must be the same color and design, and paired with full black color shorts. “No uniform, no play.”
The league’s regular season will follow a round robin format in which the top six teams will advance to double-elimination playoffs.
Games held on the weekdays will start at 5:30 p.m. while games held on the weekend will start at 2:30 p.m. at the Ada gym.
