
Many of the programs offered by the federally funded Career and Technical Education Program of the Public School System are preparing public school students for existing local workforce needs. These include the woodshop class at Chacha Ocean View Middle School. While on island recently, U.S. Department of Education senior risk consultant Christine Jackson and Interim Commissioner of Education Donna M. Flores visited the school and talked with two woodshop students Jesse Lin and Aimaan Mustansar.
