The operator of the vehicle who is in his 40’s was booked and detained pending for sobreity test.
Bureau of Public Safety Division of Patrol Chief Ismael Aguon, said that the operator of the vehicle was released later.
Chief Aguon said on Sunday, June 29, at 4:20 p.m. an unknown caller reported to the police about a sedan that run into the ditch.
Police responded to the scene and met with the operator of the vehicle.
The suspect was brought to the police station for reckless driving and he underwent a sobreity test.
Chief Aguon said the operator was found to be illegally intoxicated and was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.
Aguon said initial investigation disclosed that the operator was driving a vehicle along the road on Dngerongel Hamlet when run into the ditch.
