Newly-appointed Chief Prosecutor Kevin Lynch and Deputy Attorney General Gregory Baka will each get $70,000 a year.
There were 23 attorneys on the list exempted, but two of them will be paid less than $50,000 annually.
The Fitial administration said government lawyers here are paid lower than their U.S.-based counterparts.
The Attorney General’s Office needs more lawyers but recruitment is put on hold due to budget constraint.
