One more slot in the Saipan Major League Baseball Tournament’s playoff series is still for grab as four more teams have to face each other in the remaining games that are still up for the regular season this week.
However, only the D-Niners and Korean Dreams among these teams remain one game shy to the playoffs.
Both teams have to win two games this week in able to get the playoffs slot.
The D-Niners are set to play against Komoro for a make up game yesterday, and will meet for another make up game today with the Korean Dreams.
The Rangers which has secured the third slot in the playoff will take on Kabur tomorrow and Komoro on Friday.
SML president Tony Rogolifoi said the playoff series starts on Monday next week, “weather permitting.”
The team that will stand out this week will join the undefeated Rock Steady (14-0) which won the pennant, the defending champion Falcon (10-4) and the Rangers.
