It was the fourth time he was crowned the tournament’s Prince of the Lanes winning the titles for February, March, May and June.
Zapanta did better in winning the June Prince/Princess of the Lane but the six other bowlers also lagged in this month’s tournament keeping him on top.
The four-time prince of lanes started well in the first game then, struggled in the next. He crept back to gain 169 points in the final game to score a total of 656.
Zapanta’s 164 percent this month is way behind his average when he scored 751 points and was crowned prince of the lanes last June, eking out 187.75 percent.
Zack Cruz also maintained his last month’s standing settling for the second place again with 555 points and an average of 138.75 percent. Last month, he scored 712 and averaged 178.
Trailing them was Nikko Gutierrez who went to the bottom in the second them but managed to crawl up to score 511 and average 127.75.
For the King of the Lanes, Danny Robles prevailed as he bested 37 other bowlers in men’s division.
He played only in the second day of the tournament but consistently scored 200 up and totaled 856 in all the four games surpassing Jon Hensley who topped in the first day with a total of 748 points.
Hensley settled for third place last Monday with 820 points, tailing Robert Talavera who shared the lane with Robles scoring 832 points.
Talavera had the highest score in Game 1 but struggled in the succeeding games.
Simon Manacop, the June King of the Lanes went down to 15th place scoring only 731 points.
In Ladies division, Elena Soll surpassed Yho Villavicencio to win the Queen of the Lanes.
Soll scored 227 in Game 1, lagged a little in Game 2 but recovered in the final game to eke out a total of 732 points.
Villavicencio who prevailed in the first day with a score of 693 points scored 686 points for her second attempt last Monday.
Ron Cal who placed third last Sunday did not play in the second game but her 687 score kept her in the same standing.
