Fiduciary conference to draw high turnout

The conference which takes place in October at the Renaissance Makati City Hotel in Manila, Philippines is organized by the Asia Pacific  Association for Fiduciary Studies (APAFS).APAFS was formed in 2000 and is a non-profit educational and charitable association. Its goal is to raise the level of understanding and standards of practices among fiduciaries in the region.Palau is one of  the members of APAFS and has been constantly participating in the conference.APAFS Executive Director Dan Roland said several speakers are lined-up for the two day conference.The conference is slated on Oct. 9 to 10 and APAFS encourages all financial executives in  the money management and investment field, ,members of the boards of public pension funds, boards of public retirement funds, trustees and directors of private trusts to participate in the conference.The APAFS will also be selecting seven students to participate in the conference. The students will be selected from Palau, Federated States of Micronesia , Guam among others.Registration is now open for participants.
