Letter to the Editor: Where have all ‘free’ options gone

I don’t know dai but let’s look at our hall of fame building next door. Hey dai, anyone can vouch that there are numerous legislative committees that can superbly handle our islands’ economy? Canda looks bewildered and while scratching her head said, Could it be that they are hidden at the bottom of the “to be discussed” trays?

Canda, everyone knows the lights were turned off to help CUC and since it is dark, they cannot find them.

Does the legislative hall of fame have wooden floors?

No, no, the Legislature has concrete floors too. It is not possible for anything to slip through without being noticed by our eagle eyes legislators.

Could it be that they are in the vaults to safeguard public beneficial options from prying eyes?

Naw, I have not seen one either.

What about their shelves in their office? No, their shelves are filled to capacity with family portraits, grand children, niece and nephew, pictures taken with dignitaries in Washington, at parties and the dusty CNMI Code only.

Say what Canda?

Ai adai, don’t you know that if they are dusty then it is safe to say that there were no traces found of any attempts made to peek at the codes right?

This can go on and on without a happy ending.

Needless to say that “public concerns” should be received solemnly but it seems it’s the reverse; brushed aside with dexterity even.

You know, by doing this so often you can become an expert in hiding important issues to benefit our people?

Wait, nanga fan, what about carpets?

Now, now Canda; there are no carpets large enough to sweep under all CNMI important matters.

I can only suggest that you listen to “street talks”; they make more sense.
