“To conform to the daily power demand, the schedule will be expanded to include the entire feeder in each” of its field facility, CUC said.
Based on the revised schedule, the first and second partials of certain feeders and kiyas will be turned off at designated timeslots.
The entire grids of Feeders 2, 4, and 7, and Kiyas 1, 2, and 4, will be affected.
Feeder 2 will be taken offline between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. This will affect Beach Road Garapan, Fishing Base, Kristo Rai Church, south to San Jose intersection.
The power outage for Kiya 1 grid is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, affecting As Terlaje, Northern Marianas College, portions of Fina Sisu, Lower Dandan, Isley Field, the Commonwealth Ports Authority, the airport and As Perdido.
Also included in this timeslot are the laterals under Feeder 3. This will affect Taro Sue store, portions of Chinatown and Upper Gualo Rai.
From 12 noon to 2 p.m., Feeder 4 grid will be taken offline, affecting Lower Base, Sadog Tasi, Capital Hill, Kagman and portions of Papago.
Feeder 1: 2nd Partial will be turned off from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. This will interrupt power at 99 Cents Store, Upper Navy Hill, and portions of Garapan.
From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Feeder 7 grid will be turned off, affecting Lower Base industrial area, north to Tanapag, Achugao, San Roque, As Matuis, and Marpi.
The entire Kiya 2 grid will experience power outage from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This will affect As Lito, Koblerville, As Gonno, San Antonio, Afetnas and portions of Fina Sisu.
Kiya 4 grid will be taken offline from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., affecting portions of Chalan Kiya, San Jose, Oleai, Susupe, the Mount Carmel, and south to portions of Chalan Kanoa.
CUC said it may have to change some load shedding timeslots to address particular emergencies.
