Numbers of students attending school

For two years there is a decline of under 3,000 enrolling for school.The public school started last week, August 4, and Mechol said they are expecting a total number of enrolees of 2,900 including Private school.“Last year we have a total of 2,900 students that enrolled from all levels, from grade one  to 12th grade and we are also expecting the same this year although we don’t have the complete data yet because the private school have not open their classes yet.”Mechol said the number of high school students attending school for the past five years are increasing but the number of elementary students attending school have declined for the past five years.Mechol said there are various factors why the trend continues to decline and one of thesebecause its only public number of students of 2,900                          49 has Bachelors Degree and 105 still lacks the minimum skills requirements, the Ministry of Education statistic said.Raynold Mechol, Chief of Division of Research & Evaluation in an interview yesterday said that out of 274 total numbers of Public School teachers, 105 have high school diplomas or have some teaching experience in Headstart, 98 have Associate Degree, 49 have Bachelors Degree
