3 ex-DCM workers say they’re not fully paid

Irene Tantiado, a workers advocate, said the three individuals received different amounts as back wages and overtime pay from DCM recently.

“I hope the employer will pay them and close this issue for humanitarian reason,” Tantiado said.

DCM earlier told the Variety it had fully paid its eight workers.

In a recent telephone interview, DCM’s human resources manager Nena Titer said the three workers have nothing more to claim from the company.

She said the company processed the payment for the eight workers based on the agreed rate for each of them, and this is why not all workers received the same amount.

The three workers picked up their full payment from DCM and signed a receipt, she added.

According to Titer, the rate of the workers varies as some are paid $4.05 per hour, while some other received $4.25.

She encouraged the three to verify the approved salary rate with the U.S. Department of Labor.
