Woman files complaint vs immigration officer

Maria Gina H. Santos, 50, and a housewife, said last Saturday, at about 4:30 p.m. she and her daughter were harassed by Peter outside the National Office Supply.

Peter, Variety learned, filed a previous complaint in 2005 against Santos whom he accused of criminal mischief for scratching his car parked outside the then-Hotel Nikko Saipan on March 11, 2005.

Santos said the case was dismissed due to lack of evidence.

She said she would ask the court to issue a TRO to protect her and her family from Peter’s harassment.

Peter, she added, cussed at her.

“Mr. Peter should be ashamed of himself for embarrassing an innocent person like me in front of my daughter and other people. He uttered a profanity over an incident that happened and dismissed way back in 2005,” Santos told Variety, adding that Peter, as a government employee, should not act like a bully.

Variety tried to reach Peter but was unsuccessful.

Santos said she may file a case against Peter to prevent the same incident from happening.
