CNMI’s Got Talent takes center stage

TEN contestants will take  the stage Friday night, Dec. 2, for CNMI’s Got Talent 12, a Christmas-themed show featuring local singers, dancers, musicians, magicians, and others.

Hosted by Bridge Capital LLC, auditions were open to the general public until the end of November. Thirteen were selected to compete in the live show from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday in the Magellan Room of the Pacific Islands Club Saipan.

Event organizers will determine the order of the performances. Designated judges will chose two grand-prize winners of this year’s competition, one for each category: kids 16 years old and under, and adults at least 17 years old and over.

Contestants rehearsed for days for the live show, hoping to win over $15,000 in cash prizes:

Adults

Grand prize – $2,000

1st runner-up – $1,500

2nd runner-up – $1,000

Children, 16 and under

Grand Prize – $2,000

1st runner-up – $1,500

2nd runner-up – $1,000

Special prizes

Most Christmas – $1,000

Governor’s Choice Award – $1,500

Community Choice Award – $1,500

Best in Rota – $1,000

Best in Tinian – $1,000

Bridge Capital LLC may alter prizes for any reason or no reason at all, and without notice to anyone.

Last year’s winners were singer Donato Santiago Jr. and magician Neil Fama who were both returning competitors.
