The symposium is aimed at the protection of preservation of Palau’s historical treasures.
The symposium will be sponsored by the Bureau of Arts and Culture, Preservation Office, Ministry of Communuity and Cultural Affairs, Palau Historical and Cultural Advisory and Palau Society of Historians.The symposium will include the different states and high school student representatives.The representatives will talk about this year’s theme, translating our precious Palauan heritage.The state governments will also report on the progress of activities that it has done to protect and preserve historical sites.The symposium will also include field trips to visit historical sites.During the first day of the symposium, President Remengesau will give special remarks and the chairpersons of the Society of Historians and Palau Historical and Cultural Advisory Board.
