BANMI announces fees for caging masters

THE Basketball Association of Northern Mariana Islands announces that it is now accepting fees for the upcoming basketball masters tournament in CNMI.

There will be an entrance fee of $500 for each team interested to join this year’s BNMI Masters.

A $25 annual membership fee is also set for individuals.

Portions of the fees mentioned will be used for a future basketball clinic.

BANMI reminds caging individuals that the membership fee does not guarantee that they are already qualified for next year’s roster of basketball contingents to play in the 2009 World Basketball Masters in Sydney, Australia, but payment of fee will signify commitment to the CNMI Basketball Masters tournament sometime this month.

There will be a selection, still, of cagers to be sent to the World Basketball Masters after the conclusion of BANMI tournament this year.

BANMI reminds everyone to settle payments with Mike White, secretary of BANMI, on or before September 24.

Other sports enthusiasts in the area of volleyball, swimming, baseball are invited to register.

For more information contact the Ada Gym and ask for Elias Rangamar or Mike White at 664-2502.
