Marvin Rabauliman of Jr. Nationals made his presence felt in the hard court as he unleashed shots after shots during the entire match with the Kagman cagers.
Rabauliman scattered two-pointers in the first period, adding eight points for Jr. Nationals. His points may seem not a big deal, but he boosted his effort by the second quarter, tallying 12 points.
Other Jr. Nationals cagers concentrated their efforts inside the painted zone, inching their way in despite heavy opposition by Suns.
Jose Castro of Jr. Nationals was the second guy to Rabauliman who fired the second highest shot. Fourteen points were not exactly Castro’s idea of a good high score but he settled with the figure given the shortage of time.
Meanwhile, the Kagman cagers could not simply contain Jr. Nationals’ attack in the zone.
Banking on two of its players – Jimmy Brel and Bo Yamada, Suns tried to close in the wide difference in their team’s score with Jr. Nationals but their offense appeared weak.
Several turnovers and forced errors in ball passes, and add to the pervasive offense and defense of Jr. Nationals resulted in Suns collapsing with the final score of 41.
As it stands, Suns carry 1-2 win-lose card.
Suns rank third in a tier of nine teams in the Rotary caging.
With their recent victory in Ada, Jr. Nationals crafted 3-1 win-lose ticket.
The team is on the top three in the standings.
