Memorial Classic Golf Tournament

THE Refaluwash Golf Association would like to announce its Memorial Classic Golf Tournament on November 8, Saturday, at the Marianas Country Club in Marpi.

The tournament will have two formats – Low Gross (men & women) and Low Net Double Peoria.

For the Low Gross, the following prizes will be given away: $300 (1st place); $200 (2nd place); and $100 (3rd place).

For Low Net Double Peoria, the prizes are $500 (1st place); $300 (2nd place); and $200 (3rd place).

There also will be special awards for the closest to the pin in Hole #6, #8, and #12, and a hole-in-one in Hole #16.

Showtime is at 6:30 a.m.

Tee time is at 7:30 a.m.

There will be an awards banquet after the matches.

Entry fee is $100.

Portions of the tournament proceeds will benefit the Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School.

Acme Roofing-Karakuchi game rescheduled

THE Pacific Islands Club-Miller Lite 4-person Beach Volleyball League would like to inform everyone concerned that the match between Acme Roofing and Karakuchi has been rescheduled on Wednesday, October 22, at 6:30 p.m. at the PIC beach front.

The game was originally scheduled on Tuesday this week at 8:30 p.m. but was cancelled to give way to an important PIC occasion.

Reminders on Inter-government/Business Softball League

DEADLINE for payment of entrance fee and submission of waiver forms for the Men and Women’s Divisions of the upcoming Inter-government/Business Softball League will be on October 22, Wednesday.

Entry fee for both divisions is pegged at $400.

‘Free Fun Ride’

THERE will have be free 50-kilometer Pre-Hell of the Marianas fun ride on Saturday, October 19.

Registration starts at 5:30 a.m.

Race starts at 6:15 a.m. at the Pacific Islands Club’s south parking lot.

Registration forms should be submitted to PIC.

‘Goodbye Kim Pool Tournament’

CLOSE friends, colleagues, and fellow pool players of Ms. Kim, president of the Commonwealth Health Center Volunteers Association, are invited to join the second part of the pool matches, dubbed, “Goodbye Kim Pool Tournament”.

The event is a tribute to Ms. Kim as she will be leaving for the States soon.

The said tournament will be on Sunday, October 19, at 2 p.m. at Round II.
