BANMI reminds Rotary caging teams of overdue fees

BANMI is set to schedule the Rotary caging league’s playoffs in the third week of October; right after the make-up games.

In a letter prepared by BANMI president and league coordinator, Elias M. Rangamar, he said, “I will give all teams till the end of the regular season, Friday, October 17 to pay up the (entry) fees or suffer the consequences of not playing in the play offs.”

Rangamar issued the letter to the teams on October 1, before he left for Guam to show support for the CNMI girls’ basketball team in the 2008 FIBA-Oceania Youth Basketball Tournament.

“I have been very accommodating to you all, but it seems like the team managers and coaches are not doing their part,” Rangamar noted in his letter.

He also reminds the teams to wear their official uniforms during their matches, with the players’ respective jersey numbers.

This year’s Rotary caging league is composed of the following teams: Junior Nationals, Sixers, G-Stars, Rollers I, Kontenders, Suns, Saints, Sonics, and Rollers II.
