House Bill 16-165 appropriates $111,000 in developers infrastructure tax fund to pave the student parking area at Kagman High School and Koblerville Elementary School.
The same bill also allocates $15,000 for the rehabilitation of Kagman II baseball field and $10,000 for the improvement and upkeep of the Veteran Cemetery at Marpi.
The House separately passed House Bill 16-171 which reappropriates $120,000 from the fund balances of appropriations that were unspent under a previously enacted law.
If this measure becomes law, the church-based social group Karidat will get $20,000 for its projects and NMC bookstore will get $25,000 to finance its renovation project and collateral improvements.
Both appropriation bills were sent to the Senate for action.
The Senate is scheduled to hold a session on Wednesday.
