On Friday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m., the offices of Reps. John Paul Sablan and Manny Gregory Castro conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the San Isidro Beach Park public restroom. The renovation of the public restroom started about approximately eight months ago. It has been a long-awaited project that is now fully completed. Part of the scope of work was the installation of three showers outside the public restroom to allow people who frequent the area to rinse off before heading back home. Sablan said, “Rep. Manny Castro and I thank our partners, the Department of Public Works and the Division of Parks and Recreation. We also thank our dear people who frequent the San Isidro Beach Park for their patience during the last eight months while the the renovation and restoration of the public restroom was ongoing. It is now completed and officially open to the public.” Parks and Recreation will the facilitators and custodian of the public restroom. Max Aguon from the division is the person assigned to maintain and open the public restroom every day. “Representative Manny and I humbly ask our dear people to take care of our public facilities and make sure it’s always clean and sanitary,” Sablan added.
