THE CNMI Weightlifting Federation’s annual Marianas Cup is looking to be a very competitive event with a total of 32 athletes registered to compete this Saturday, March 25, at the Ada gym.
Registration for the Marianas Cup is officially closed. Among the 32 registered participants are 12 weightlifters from the neighboring island of Guam.
For CNMI weightlifters, the Marianas Cup serves as a qualifier for a spot on the CNMI National Weightlifting Team that will compete in the upcoming Micronesian and Pacific Games.
