FOOTBALL fans at watch parties held around the island on Monday enjoyed the nail-biting spectacle that was Super Bowl LVII.

At State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, Kansas City Chiefs edged  the Philadelphia Eagles, 38-35, while on Saipan, locals cheered on or commiserated with their favorite teams. 

The theatre showroom of the Hyatt Regency Saipan was at near capacity. Among the audience were Eagles fans Cameron Nicholas, Patrick Fitial, TJ Dela Cruz and Caitlyn Crisostomo.

Dozens of Eagles and Chiefs fans also made their way into the Sunflower Room of Saipan World Resort.

Charley’s Cabaret of the Pacific Islands Club Saipan, Aqua Resort Club as well as several local bars such as Safehouse, Jonny’s Bar, Joe’s Bar and others also hosted well-attended Super Bowl watch-parties.
