JUDY Ann Ramos, Anecito Loterena and Maya Ignacio won $100 each in the Best of the Marianas weekly raffle draw this month.
The Best of the Marianas aims to promote businesses in the CNMI and highlight its best attractions, such as diving spots, sunset views, and beaches, to name a few.
It is a program initiated by Marianas Variety in partnership with the Marianas Visitors Authority.
The voting ended on Feb. 15, 2023.
Variety picked five winners of $100 cash prize every week through a live raffle draw streamed on Facebook every Thursday at 4 p.m. All the live raffle draws can be viewed on Variety’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/mvariety.
In an interview, Loterena expressed his gratitude to Variety and MVA.
“I was surprised to win!” he said, adding that he voted for Paradise Dental Clinic.
“Now I have more money to save,” he said when asked what he will do with his $100.
Ramos, for her part, also expressed her joy for receiving cash.
She said she voted for Pacific Islands Club.
Maya Ignacio said she voted for Kinpachi Restaurant. “The food is really good at Kinpachi,” she added.
On Feb. 21, Variety and MVA conducted the live raffle draw for the grand prize, a staycation for two to Saipan, Tinian or Rota.
The winners will be announced and featured on March 10 in Variety’s Best of the Marianas special issue that will also highlight the Best of the Marianas winners.
