With the Honorable Carmen G. Cantor, assistant secretary for insular and international affairs, U.S. Department of the Interior, Gov. Arnold I. Palacios and Lt. Gov. David M. Apatang toured the progress that was being made with the federally funded Route 36 road construction project. Details of the project were shared by acting Department of Public Works Secretary Anthony A. Camacho. The Route 36 road construction project aims to connect Windward Road near Kingfisher on Capital Hill to Chalan Kalabera near the Bird Island lookout in Marpi.
