Marianas Health says thank you to golfers, sponsors, and volunteers

THE 2022 Marianas Health Golf Classic held its second golf tournament on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022, on the west course of the Laolao Bay Golf Resort.

Generous sponsors contributed to the one-day event and welcomed 154 golfers from Saipan, Rota, Tinian, and Guam, and was supported with over 50 volunteers.

The funds raised from the tournament went to support the Antonio T. Lizama Scholarship program, which awards local students seeking higher education in the health care field to help support our health force community.

Emiri Sunga of Guam became the biggest winner in the 2022 Marianas Health Golf Classic as she made a hole-in-one shot in the opening round of the PM tee time. Sunga used her 3 wood to knock in the ace on the par 3, Hole #17 on the west course to win $5,000 which was sponsored by Pacifica Insurance.
