KIDS Playground on Middle Road is an affordable place for children who just want to have fun — indoors.
“When I moved to Saipan, there weren’t a lot of places for children to play aside from the outdoors,” said Jinhua Wu, the owner of Kids Playground.
It has a play pen with plastic balls and colorful rubber floor mats so the children can safely run, climb and jump.
It also has an area for arcade basketball, shooting and other games as well as toy claw machines.
Kids Playground, which can also accommodate birthday celebrations, is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
For just $10, the children can play as much as they want for two hours.
“We want to make the place affordable for parents,” Wu said.

Wu also wants to thank community members who availed themselves of the free bento or lunch boxes on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, at Party and Beyond Restaurant which she also owns.
She said they were “overwhelmed” by the number of people who visited the restaurant.
“This is the first time we celebrated Thanksgiving by giving out bentos and we are grateful for the response we received,” she said, adding that next year, they plan to give out more bento boxes.
