Aingimea joins PIDB as loan officer

HAGÅTÑA, Guam (PIDB) —  The Pacific Islands Development Bank is proud to announce and welcome Jamie James Aingimea as the bank’s loan officer.

“We welcome Jamie to our PIDB family. I am confident that he will be  a  valuable  addition  to  our team,” said PIDB President & CEO Lindsay Timarong.

Jamie was born and raised in Pohnpei and went to college in Eastern Oregon where he majored in business administration. His professional background includes several years of lending experience working for financial institutions such as Wells Fargo and Bank of Guam. He served as a mortgage loan officer with Bank of Guam for more than three years before he accepted his post at PIDB.

Jamie will lead the loan department in developing new clients and business opportunities, among other duties and responsibilities.

“We are excited to have Jamie join the PIDB team and congratulate him,” said Rosa Weilbacher, PIDB manager of  administration. “He will be a great asset to our strong team-oriented and customer-focused culture. We believe his knowledge and experience in the banking industry make him the right choice to lead our loan department team.”

Jamie is part Pohnpeian and Nauruan, bringing a diverse balance of cultural values and perspectives to the organization.

The Pacific Islands Development Bank is a regional development finance institution that aims to assist member countries and territories in accelerating their economic and social development through its lending and other programs.

The bank’s current members are Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the Republic of Palau, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the FSM states of Chuuk, Kosrae, Pohnpei and Yap.
