The Saipan Chamber of Commerce (SCC) is hosting the 2022 Gubernatorial Candidate Debate today, Thursday, September 29, 2022, at the World Resort Saipan, Taga Hall. Stream starts at 5:45pm, ChST.
This year’s gubernatorial candidates are Republican Gov. Ralph DLG Torres, Republican-turned-Independent Lt. Gov. Arnold I. Palacios, and Democratic Rep. Christina “Tina” E. Sablan. This debate is offered in the effort to further educate voters on the issues of our island by presenting the opportunity to hear differing opinions and solutions, and for those who are unfamiliar with the various platforms of each candidate.
