(Commonwealth Utilities Corp.) — There will be a scheduled water service interruption on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for customers on Kamyo Drive, Ghoot Lane to Bayak Drive, Gafo Place and the Joeten Subdivision in Fina Sisu. Customers should expect low water pressure to no water within the outage period.
The scheduled water service interruption is to allow CUC’s contractor for the Fina Sisu Waterline Replacement Project to perform the connection of the existing four-inch waterline that supplies water to Kamyo Drive. Customers should expect normal water service soon thereafter.
This project is part of the Fina Sisu waterline replacement project funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to provide a more reliable water system. The transition work is in part of the decommissioning of the old waterline to eliminate risks of contamination and frequent line breaks.
