RENDEZVOUS Mezzing and Jonny’s Just The Tip bagged separate victories Wednesday in the “C” Division of the SEDA Bud Light Dart League.
Mezzing earned their 55th win after holding their own against 9 Eleven ONLY-FAMZ, 8-7.
Mezzing established control in the opening Singles 301 Double In/Double Out game with Mamento Forbes, Jesse Quitano and June Lizama winning three of the four rounds.
In the partners scene, ONLY-FAMZ split the two games. However, when it came to the singles game, Mezzing pulled another 3-1 run to stretch the gap, 8-4, and secure victory.
But ONLY-FAMZ still fought until the end, winning the remaining three rounds to ease the pain of defeat, 7-8
Also victorious were Just The Tip which rallied to edge the Rendezvous Seikid Darters, 8-7.
Seikid had a strong start as they swept the opening game for a 4-0 lead. But Just The Tip managed to find their way back within reach starting with a two-win sweep in the Partners Crazy Cricket game. After splitting the Partners 501 game, Just The Tip turned the tide with a four-win sweep in the Singles Regular Cricket game to grasp the upper hand, 7-5.
Just The Tip then clinched the eighth and final win needed to secure match victory, but Seikid grabbed the leftovers to soften the loss, 7-8.
Joining the winner’s circle were the 6JMS Team Lava Boyz who defeated Tambayan Distorted C, 10-5; and True North Hit Em Up which outplayed Jonny’s Put It In, 10-5.
