The crowd was on the edge of their seats for both matches, each delivering its own brand of drama and athleticism.
In the first men’s game of the evening, 4-Starz went up against the Tekison Warriors in a three-set thriller. It was a battle from the very first serve, with both teams trading blows in a tightly contested opening set.

Leading the offensive charge were Alfredo Guevarra, James Limes, and Maui Taijeron, whose relentless spikes kept their team in front for most of the set. 4-Starz eventually pulled away to claim the opener, 25-18.
The Tekison Warriors, who had done most of the receiving, answered back in the second set. Behind the counterattacks of T.K. and K.R. Norech, Aiferson Atan, and Denri Fiden, they flipped the momentum in their favor. Their resilience and teamwork paid off as they stormed to a 25-18 win, evening the match at one set apiece.
